Job Description


Robert Bosch LLC seeks a Manager - Sales & Acquisition at its facility located at 38000 Hills Tech Dr., Farmington Hills, MI 48331. The position is responsible for and executes sales activities in all areas of the Commercial Vehicle Advanced Network Systems portfolio which support achieving annual business plan targets and securing future business growth. The Sales and Acquisition Manager understands customer technology trends, innovations and market landscape and works closely with their European counterparts to create strategies to grow the business. The position also has responsibility to assure customer satisfaction across several customers where business is already booked. This entails working closely with the customer and collaborating with other functions within Bosch to assure all customer KPI’s are met (Quality, Delivery, Price Management, etc).

Requirements:

  • B.S. in automotive electrical, mechanical engineering or business
  • Minimum 7 years of automotive sales experience with combination of technical knowledge and commercial skills.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in developing pricing strategies for quotations and negotiating with OEMs.
  • Minimum 5 years of good understanding of automotive products, customers as well as sales & marketing.
  • Expected travel approximately 20% including some international travel

Preferred:

  • MBA or post-bachelor’s business-related degree
  • Problem solving mindset, “Can do” attitude and entrepreneurial spirit
  • Experience with project management fundamentals
  • Experience developing business cases and pitching ideas to gain buy-in from stakeholders
  • Experience with Commercial Vehicle OEM customers
  • Experience with electronic components, software and products (gateways, body control modules, vehicle control modules, etc.)
  • Experience working in and leading global cross functional teams.
